Agile Upstream Announces New Corporate Name Change to ThoughtTrace

Agile Upstream, Inc., a leader in human-assisted artificial intelligence (AI) for the energy industry, has changed its name to ThoughtTrace, Inc. effective August 15, 2018.

The name change more appropriately reflects the company’s mission to empower clients to greater insight and creativity through better access to their most challenging information, while expanding into other markets such as manufacturing, logistics, and renewables.

“The name references the ability of our AI platform to read and understand text at the intent, or thought level. But, the primary purpose of the name change is intended to communicate the ability to apply context to content, to replace ambiguity with clarity, and to provide understanding even in the absence of structure,” said Nick Vandivere, CEO ThoughtTrace. “In short, the change better communicates our capabilities and value to a wider market.”

In tandem with the name change, ThoughtTrace will launch a new website and introduce an updated corporate identity that will encompass the software’s reach to existing upstream clients and broader-based industry partners.

ThoughtTrace’s flagship artificial intelligence software platform, ALI™, has seen rapid market adoption and now can comprehend over 240 provisions in lease documents, and nearly 100 provisions in general contracts.

ThoughtTrace™ will be demonstrating the ALI™ platform as an exhibiting sponsor at the upcoming TIBCO NOW Conference, September 4-6, 2018 and the Tableau Conference, October 22-25, 2018.

About ThoughtTrace:
ThoughtTrace exists to empower people and companies to greater insight and creativity through better access to their most challenging information. We help enterprises review and validate critical information in existing contracts and legal documents. Using a combination of artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning, the company’s SaaS platform ALI™ reads words, sentences, and paragraphs, just like a human does, driving better strategy, decisions, and execution. With results in minutes or hours, not weeks or months, advanced analysis and understanding is your edge. Learn more at http://www.thoughttrace.com
